Recently, the School of Energy Science and Engineering successfully held an Industry Leaders Forum and career-themed league day event in Room 212 of the Energy Conservation Building, under the theme “Career Choices at the Intersection of Medicine and Engineering—Jointly Exploring the Vast Universe of Exosomes”. The lecture featured Yang Yijie, an outstanding alumnus of the school and the founder and CEO of Shenzhen Huixin Biotechnology Co., Ltd., as the keynote speaker. A distinguished graduate in Fluid Machinery and Engineering, Yang Yijie’s personal journey vividly exemplifies the power of interdisciplinary innovation.
Yang provided a systematic explanation of the scientific significance of exosome biotechnology and shared the early-stage challenges and breakthrough strategies experienced by Huixin Biotechnology. He recounted leading his team from the ground up in the development and commercialization of multiple projects, inspiring attendees with his perseverance and vision.
During the interactive session, the atmosphere was dynamic as students actively raised questions on topics such as cross-disciplinary career development, cutting-edge technology trends, and entrepreneurial risks.
