To strengthen in-depth cooperation in scientific research, international exchanges, and collaboration, on the afternoon of March 15, 2025, Professor Vladimir Kulagin, Academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering and Chair of the Department of Thermal Technology and Fluid Mechanics at the Siberian Federal University School of Engineering, and Professor Tatiana Kulagina, Chair of the Department of Engineering Ecology and Life Safety at the Siberian Federal University School of Engineering, were invited to the School of Energy Science and Engineering to deliver academic reports and engage in discussions. The academic presentations and discussion sessions were held in Meeting Room 212 of the Energy Saving Building. Professor Gao Jianmin, Dean of the School of Energy Science and Engineering, attended the meeting, along with representatives from the High-Tech Research Institute of the Heilongjiang Academy of Sciences and faculty and students from the School of Energy Science and Engineering.
Dean Gao Jianmin warmly welcomed the two Russian experts. Professor Vladimir Kulagin and Professor Tatiana Kulagina delivered academic reports titled “Prospects for Cavitation Technology: Theory and Practice” and “Using Cavitation Technology to Treat Hazardous Waste,” respectively, providing detailed introductions to cavitation technology and its applications. The attending faculty and students engaged in in-depth discussions based on the presentations. After the academic session, Dean Gao held further in-depth exchanges with the two Russian experts on scientific research and international cooperation.
