Recently, the School of Energy Engineering organized a delegation of faculty and student representatives to conduct a practical research visit to the Harbin Flight Academy of the Air Force. During the visit, the practice group toured the Academy's history museum, where they gained an in-depth understanding of its development trajectory, educational characteristics, and critical role in national defense construction. From the early days of arduous pioneering to the modernized teaching system of today, a collection of precious historical photos and mission-laden physical exhibits vividly demonstrated the Flight Academy’s significant contributions to safeguarding national airspace, leaving the students deeply moved.
Following the tour, an Academy officer provided a detailed explanation of military civilian personnel and direct recruitment policies for commissioned officers. The briefing specifically analyzed application scenarios for energy-related positions in areas such as equipment maintenance and technological R&D, addressing common questions in the recruitment process with typical case studies.
Through on-site learning, policy interpretation, and career analysis, this activity helped students establish a systematic connection between their professional knowledge and national defense needs, offering a diversified perspective for their career development.
