Recently, the School of Energy Engineering organized faculty and students to conduct a practical research visit to Harbin Thermal Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as HaRe Company), gaining an in-depth understanding of the actual operations of a power generation enterprise.
Guided by experts from HaRe Company, the students thoroughly learned about the corporate organizational structure, core production processes, key position setups, and required skill sets. Through on-site observation of power generation unit operations, the visit provided a comprehensive picture of the operational landscape of a modern thermal power enterprise. From traditional energy production to intelligent dispatch systems, and from frontline operational maintenance to cutting-edge technological R&D, HaRe Company demonstrated a pressing need for interdisciplinary and innovative energy talent. During the interactive session, students engaged in lively discussions with company representatives on topics such as career development paths and core competency cultivation.
