From July 7 to July 24, 2025, the 2025 International Summer School of Smart Low-Carbon Energy and Aerospace Power, organized by Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU), was successfully held in both Harbin and Hong Kong.
This summer school is part of HIT's inaugural HIT+ Joint International Summer School program. It was hosted by HIT's School of Undergraduate Studies and Office of International Cooperation, and co-organized by the School of Energy Science and Engineering at HIT, the School of Energy and Environment at City University of Hong Kong, and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. A total of 47 students from more than 10 universities, including Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, University of Science and Technology of China, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, and Moscow Power Engineering Institute, participated in the program.
The event not only provided a valuable learning platform for participants but also effectively promoted cross-disciplinary communication and collaboration among students, fostering their innovative spirit and teamwork, while further broadening their international perspective.
