The School of Energy Science and Engineering Holds the Oral Defense for University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program
The School of Energy Science and Engineering held the oral defense for University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program at 6 pm of November 14. The School’s Association for Science and Technology has undertaken the organizing work of the oral defense. The oral defense includes three parts: project proposal, interim report and concluding report. Nine teachers including Qiu Penghua, Sun Rui, Zeng Lingyang, Liu Huaping, Wen Fengbo, Zhao Junming, Qu Ming, Gong Ruzhi and Han Lei were invited to serve as the judges to review and grade each student team. The staff have successfully divided the workload and completed the organizing work in every classroom.
Throughout the oral defense, all team members have shown great enthusiasm in their own work, actively presenting their projects in detail. Despite the short presentation time they had, all teams were able to make a clear and concise presentation of their work, demonstrating the careful preparation each team has given to the presentation. The judges also offered their earnest comments as well as suggestions for further improvement.
The oral defense lasted about one and a half hours. The whole defense went smoothly with students making every endeavor to present their project achievements and they were also able to learn from the constructive feedback from the judge teachers.
