Researcher Zhifeng Wang's Academic Report on Basic Thermophysical Problems in Solar Thermal Utilization
On the morning of August 6, the researcher Zhifeng Wang of the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences gave an academic report on the discussion of basic thermal physics problems faced by solar thermal utilization. Researcher Zhifeng Wang compared the average electricity prices of various countries, so that everyone can more clearly understand the efficiency and working conditions of different types of photovoltaic power plants. Researcher Wang also introduced the coating selection method for absorbing solar radiation which made the participants realize that research should rely on data to speak and rely on facts to speak. The researcher from Zhifeng Wang made it easier for everyone to understand and thus the students had a better understanding of solar thermal utilization.

Professor Jinyue Yan and the Participants Discussed “How to Get Your Research Published”
On the afternoon of August 6, Professor Jinyue Yan of KTH Royal Institute of Technology gave a lecture on “how to get your research results published”. Professor Yan used vivid examples to tell students the importance of broadening their horizons, showing students the problems that often appear in the writing of articles, and telling the details that will appear in the process of submitting articles. Professor Yan emphasized to the students that when writing papers, one should stand on the reader's point of view and make it easier for others to understand the work. The students benefited from listening and shared their experiences with the professor, and thus gained a lot of experience and inspiration about the writing of papers.
Professor Jinyue Yan gave an explanation of the submission process.
