The college boasts a high-level faculty team that is pragmatic, innovative, and pioneering. It has a total of 194 faculty and staff members, including 113 full-time teachers. Among them, there are 75 full professors, 37 associate professors, 1 lecturer, and 46 postdoctoral researchers. The college is committed to enhancing the competitiveness of its faculty by actively cultivating and recruiting outstanding talents. Currently, the college includes 3 recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 9 national-level high-level talents, 3 recipients of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, 19 national-level young talents, 2 Young Longjiang Scholars, 8 recipients of the New Century Excellent Talents support program from the Ministry of Education, 1 national-level teaching master, and 3 provincial-level teaching masters in Heilongjiang Province. The college also has 2 Heilongjiang Province Leading Goose Teams, 15 Young Scientist Studios of Harbin Institute of Technology, and 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China Innovative Research Group.
